
In October 2005 Canon announced that it would resolve the issues with the CCD image sensor fitted in certain Canon digital cameras and digital camcorders "free of charge" (under warranty) for the end user.
The service period for the products listed in the tables below has now expired. That means that the free repair service is no longer available for any of the products listed that we receive after the expiry dates in the table below.
Products that we receive after the expiry dates below are covered by Canon's standard rules regarding repairs.
